I've been making sketches from nature since first picking up a pencil and have been a passionate advocate for the arts and the animal kingdom ever since. The big shift in focus to the dog world came after making a memorial portrait for our own 'Freya' the Whippet-Collie cross and of course when we adopted our Whippet X Staffie -  "Martha" who never fails to inspire with her strange little expressions!

 'Canines on Canvas' is all about translating four-legged family members and their character into a lasting keepsake portrait. A lovingly created forever-tribute of your pet to dress your walls with. Since it's inception, seeing how much it means to their humans has sustained this small business and is no small reason why Canines on Canvas was born. 

Crafted from the highest standard eco-friendly & sustainable FSC approved materials using only top-rated lightfast colours & pigments. Portraits are available in; Colour Pencil, Acrylics, Pen & Ink or Graphite. It is always so great to hear about the character of your canine and some of the bonkers stories they have given you to tell. This helps immensely when it comes to the task of portraying their true nature on canvas.
